[Even though the place is completely useless for Sato himself, he's been by to find people enough that he knows well enough where it is. So in time he shows up in good spirits, calling out as he meanders through the door:]
( as she most often is, Kate is in the office, but stands up from the desk, from going over notes hastily written about volunteers, to poke her head out and greet her visitor. )
Found this place fine, then?
( not that it's hard. even if you don't know the place, it's pretty nicely located near the colosseum and since the last time Hope asked for help, signposted on more than a few buildings. )
( she gestures towards the office, where they can talk in a bit more privacy. )
Been using an enchantment for th' shit in the tunnels for a while now. ( more or less, even though she doesn't go hunting in the tunnels voluntarily any more, she keeps on top of it to help the guard out as needed. ) Problem is, with everyone coming from different places, everyone's powers work different.
( Kate takes a breath and a seat behind the desk. ) Means it's a bit more complicated. Won't work on every new monster that comes in.
[Sato follows her into the office, taking a seat opposite. He unclips the sheathed machete from his belt and lays it across his lap, as relaxed and nonthreatening as he can be.]
Ha ha, I've been noticing that a bit myself. Even immortality seems to be different depending on where you come from. But I think it'll be a step in the right direction.
( Her head tilts to one side, a considering nod at that. )
It'll drain th' power of any of those monsters. Weakens 'em quite a bit. ( Offensively, mostly, but defensively too. ) Can use the stored power to attack as well, but only once. Enchantment itself should last a month before it needs to be redone.
That sounds simple enough. [He says, adding thoughtfully:] Of course I'm sure it's more complicated on your end of things. Magic doesn't seem to be an easy thing to do. Or at least, not to someone like myself.

Sorry about the delay orz
[He doesn't want to appear threatening, otherwise he'd probably just put the weapon down in front of her. People can be so particular about niceties.]
Now, I believe you said it would be easier to explain about this enchantment process in person, hmm?
dw, taking forever is my life /collapses
